Ewoks family by Lego 7

The Ewoks are my favourite characters in the Starwars epilog. If found this brilliant Lego creation done by the nick name Lego 7 at flickr. He has included all the necessary details to reflect the Ewoks. Very clever and thoughtful design. Check out his flickr page for some ideas!

Busy at school

I’ve been poor at publishing posts for awhile. School has been calling! I will soon graduate grade 9 in Sweden. We have had so many examinations last couple of weeks, I’m really looking forward to the summer holiday. After some chill, relaxation and creative Lego building I will begin studies at the secondary school (senior high school).

Movie popcorn

Dwalin Forkbeard has created an awesome popcorn bin. If you look closely you can see that he used small puppy dogs from Lego Friends to resemble popcorn. He has also built the letters and presented the text in a cool way. The actual cup is constructed with different angles which gives a nice authentic look!

Mountain Lodge MOC almost completed!

I have almost completed my Mountain Lodge MOC. I still have to work on the interior fittings. For awhile I was not sure how I wanted to design the roof on the lodge. One of my ideas was have a winter look with snow, or a roof with vegetation of gras and flower. I choose the second alternative. The ruff old vintage look decorating the walls works great together with the green roof. I hope you like my MOC!

White beach house MOC

At the sponsor event I attended on Friday to show some of my own creations, I displayed my newly built beach house. It’s a modern villa standing on a high cliff. The house has high ceiling, white floors, deluxe view from wide windows, modern equipped kitchen. A slim modern staircase leads up to a master bedroom with a corner window. From the second floor a door leads out to a large terrace. A gas grill  invites guests to a nice barbeque with a great view.

Porsche 911 coupé 1964

Early replica of Porsche 911 coupé 1964. The scale of the model to the original is 1:13. This beautiful car is made by Sergey Solbodenyuk. I love the details and the authentic look. If you want to build this car you can buy the instructions and parts list. I love his recommendation before you consider to build the car.

– The assembly is likely to take quite a bit of your time. It might be the reason for exasperation and nervous breakdowns, can cause unpleasant sensations in the fingers.

Halloween Ideas!

Great Halloween puzzle cube made by the youtube channel Let’s do this. This is obviously a cube you want to touch and feel. I was self eager to try to build this cube, but unfortunately I didn’t have enough orange tiles. Check out the link!

Happy Halloween!

Mountain Lodge MOC

One of my own MOC buildings I’m working on now is a Mountain Lodge. The house is hanging out from a steep cliff. The exterior has a ruff wooden surface and is built out of waste old wood. I’ve patched the facade with different brown color bricks to give it a lively look. Each corner is drawn out to give some depth and the tails is placed horisontal. You will reach the entrance by a spectacular narrow bridge. Well this is an on going project so I don’t have any estimate when the built will be finished.

Legoland California – Star Wars Day

Legoland California celebrated their annual Star Wars Days on the 3rd and 4th of June this year. The main highlight at the Fan gallery was the huge creation of The Battle of Hoth made by Mark Borlase. He had been building it for a year and used several hundred thousands of bricks. The impressive built measured 2 by 4 meters.

I have created my on versions of Echo Base earlier, so I think this is awesome! I just wish my closest Legoland Billund could have a similar event in the same magnitude as this one.
