Legos new interactive theme Hidden Side

Lego has revealed the new theme Hidden Side which combines the real world and the digital. There are eight new sets where Jack, Parker and Professor JB try to capture the ghosts which are taking over their hometown Newbury. You need to use the physical models as well as interacting with your phone in the AR game to stop the ghosts from haunting the town. Lots of nice details in the different sets!

Welcome to Apocalypseburg!

The set Welcome to Apocalypseburg, 70840, contains 3178 pieces and 12 minifigures among others Emmet, Lucy, Batman and Harley Quinn. They have built a new city with pieces of the old city. Half of the Staty of Liberty has been used and it looks awesome! There is a Café, a Scribble Cop’s office, an armory, a barber’s/tattoo parlor, Lucy’s hideout, Fuse’s workshop, a rooftop diner and a gym in the set. I think the designer video from Lego gives you a good picture of how they created this lego set.

Lego expand in China

Today Lego has 60 stores in China. At the end of the year the toymaker plan to open 80 more locations together with the local partners according to Reuters. The US and European market has declined for the danish toymaker last year, but China has a large potential. At present China accounts for less than 10 percent of Lego’s over all sales. They have ambition to expand their business over the coming years.
